A child who is known will outgrow a child who is ranked. That’s our point of view, and it lives in a thousand small interactions that no brochure spread will ever hold.

Community gets built in the in-between. At the comedor over lunch from The Bakery. In the hallway before morning meeting. On the bus to the Boruca community to learn traditional dance. At the talent show when the whole room cheers for the nervous kid.
You can plan a facility. You can’t plan the friendship that forms on a beach clean-up. The most valuable part of a school is the part it can’t fully control, only nurture.
Which Is Exactly Why You Should Visit
Because community doesn’t show up in print, the only way to assess it is in person. That’s not a sales tactic; it’s just the truth of how it works. When you tour, the brochure facts will be there to confirm. What you’re really there to feel is the temperature of the place.
Watch whether kids look comfortable. Listen for laughter. Notice if parents linger. Those signals tell you more than any printed page.
