Our Academic Pathways
Ballena Academy offers engaging programs for every stage of learning, from early childhood through secondary education.
Preschool Program
(Ages 3-4)
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, we believe that our youngest students are capable, curious, and full of potential. Children explore topics that interest them through play, art, and hands-on projects. Teachers act as guides, fostering curiosity and collaboration in a warm, supportive environment.
Primary Program
(Grades K-6)
We nurture curious, questioning students by teaching across subjects and focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development. We teach critical thinking and help students become globally minded, curious about different cultures and places, and excited to learn and explore. We encourage students to become independent learners who take ownership of how they learn and truly engage with each topic.
Secondary Program
(Grades 7-12)
Our secondary program uses concept-based learning to challenge students to think critically, question deeply, and make connections across disciplines. Through inquiry-based projects and exploration of real-world issues, students develop strong research and communication skills, global awareness, and the independence needed for university and beyond.
